JOB DESCRIPTION Process Engineer Piper Companies is looking for a Process Engineer. The Process Engineer will provide technical leadership, machine design, and processing expertise towards the final stage development, scale up, and commercialization for new and existing product lines. Responsibilities for the Process Engineer include: Lead investigations and improvements into manufacturing product/processing issues and continuous improvement initiatives Lead Management of Change (MOC) review process Keep up to date on industrial and academic technological developments and exploring opportunities to incorporate them into process development/commercialization process Directing or participating on project teams within the PMP/Project Management process Direct or participate in a variety of projects with cross-functional project teams. Collaborating with Strategic Business Innovation, Strategic Business Management, Research & Development, Quality, Regulatory, Safety, Finance, & Manufacturing groups Requirements for the Process Engineer include: BS degree in Engineering Ideal candidates will possess 5 years plus of extrusion process development Experience in equipment and process validations (IQ, OQ, and PQ) and the transfer of new processes and equipment into manufacturing.
