OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for developing, establishing and achieving the short and long-term objectives, strategies and tactics of the Dermatology business as it relates to our key portfolio brands. This position will lead strategic launch plans for new innovative first in class products and ensure it is aligned with Almirall global marketing. Enable the field organization through segmentation, targeting and development of collateral materials for promotional use. This position develops and directs market analysis and implementation of marketing plans for the Almirall US Sales and Marketing department, specifically targeting marketing strategies in support of achieving sales and profit objectives. Works closely with sales organization on building and implementing strategic plan. Monitors competitive activity to assist in development of offensive competitive strategy and tools that effectively pre-position future competition. Ensures consistent legal guidelines are utilized, through the process of medical, legal and regulatory approval (PRC). Develops and manages sales and promotional spend forecasts for short- and long-term budgets. Assists in the development and management of annual sales and expense requirements. Develops and maintains close customer relationships that include effective working relationships with key VIPs, physicians and other staff groups to assist in guiding marketing, sales, and service. The employee must conduct their work activities in compliance with all internal requirements and with all applicable regulatory requirements. Almirall internal requirements include compliance with ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies, requirements and objectives. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibility for strategic and tactical business and brand plans for Dermatology Portfolio Lifecycle Develop all promotional materials in alignment with corporate brand positioning, corporate strategy, and market needs. Develop launch planning activities & evaluate local launch planning activities for new product and new indications as needed. Lead a team of four individuals Building & Fostering business relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. Maintain active relationship with sales force and Head of Sales & Medical Closely work with Spanish teammates developing strategic plans for new and BD products Monitor products, marketplace, and competitor trends and issues via professional publications/databases, conferences, etc. And anticipate marketplace and competitive issues. Supervise research efforts and initiate competitive intelligence to analyze product and market related trends, develop a deep understanding of key markets in dermatology, and identify opportunities for promotion or product expansion. Manage marketing communications for internal staff and external customers Manage all aspects of the marketing inventories and Marketing and Promotional budget. Obtains market share by developing marketing plans and programs for each product; directing promotional support. Achieves financial objectives by preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyze variances, initiating corrective actions. Support marketing efforts by participating in strategy meetings and providing guidance relative to promotional review scheduling, print production options and budget management, and field distribution. Act as a liaison with outside vendors and consultants. Includes procuring and negotiating fulfillment and production costs. Manage project schedules for timely and effective progress toward target dates. Partner with Analytics team to garner market insights. Lead Market Research Coordinate Strategic and Brand planning process QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS BA/BS degree. MA/MS/MBA is a plus 5+ years' experience in or with pharmaceutical brands 5 or more years as marketing head The ability and willingness to travel (20%) Proven track record in launching successfully innovative first in class products Dermatology experience is desired, but not required Agency/vendor management experience a plus Strong strategic and analytical skills Knowledgeable and proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project software applications. Excellent organization, time and project management skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work with all levels of internal and external customers and contacts in a professional manner. Good understanding of regulatory, legal and medical requirements to pharmaceutical marketing Excellent diplomacy and facilitation skills; ability to influence without authority Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment Proven ability to work effectively across functions as a team player. Knowledge of FDA Marketing Compliance, PhRMA Guidelines and the Sunshine Act preferredSalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification5 - 7 years
