Position Summary:

The Mechanic is accountable for the entire repair and service works of electrical units and other power equipments in a facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility.
* Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and vehicle engines and repairing the same.
* Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.
* Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
* Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.
* Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical units to the supervising manager.
* Placing orders for spare and replacement parts and completing all necessary documentation for the same.
* Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipments.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Regular and reliable attendance.

Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

* Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
* Sound understanding of using all electrical testing and repair equipments.
